Crissy opened Explicit on 30th in 2012 — twelve years behind the chair, still cutting every day she's in. No franchise, no rotating staff. The barbers who started the shop are mostly still here, which is why your last fade looks like your next one.
Inside : six chairs, a cold drink when you sit down, a hot towel before you stand up, and a water bowl by the door because half the neighborhood walks a dog. The mural outside is North Park. The shop inside is ours.
Woman-owned. LGBTQ-friendly. Dog-friendly. We don't put any of that on a banner — it's just how the place runs. Same chair, same care, same starting price, whoever walks in.
